Will this sofa actually fit your room?

Check wall scale, front clearance, surrounding furniture, and the first doorway before an expensive delivery arrives.

Your room and sofa

Three checks before ordering.

01

Measure the route

Record doors, hall turns, stair rails, elevator openings, and the final room entrance. A doorway width alone cannot guarantee delivery.

02

Tape the footprint

Mark the full width and depth on the floor. Open doors, walk the pathway, and test the room with daily movement.

03

Verify every listing dimension

Confirm assembled dimensions, diagonal depth, packaging size, removable parts, and the seller's return and delivery policies.

Before you finalize the purchase

Questions that catch real measurement mistakes.

These answers explain the limits and placement details that a single calculator result cannot decide for you.

The doorway check passes. Does that guarantee the sofa can be delivered?

No. It is only a basic first check using the sofa's smaller listed depth or height. Tight turns, stairs, elevators, packaging, arm shape, diagonal depth, and removable parts can still stop delivery.

What counts as usable wall width?

Measure only the wall section the sofa can truly occupy. Exclude door swings, radiators, vents, built-ins, required access, and any part of a window or curtain treatment that should remain clear.

Why can a sofa fit the wall but fail the room plan?

Width and depth solve different problems. A sofa may leave enough space at both ends while its depth, the furniture opposite it, and the selected pathway consume too much of the room's front circulation zone.
