We add your six furnishing allowances, estimated tax on those items, delivery and setup, then your contingency percentage on that subtotal. For example, $5,000 in items + $400 tax + $200 delivery = $5,600. A 10% reserve makes the total $6,160.
Starting amounts are editable planning examples in USD, not retailer quotes or market averages. Tax starts at 0%; enter your applicable estimate. Delivery tax, construction, labor beyond your setup allowance, and unlisted purchases are not automatically included. For bedrooms, add a mattress to your bed allowance if needed.
Does changing materials create a new room rendering?
No. The large image is a styling reference; changing room or design direction selects a reference where available. Material and furniture choices update your concept board, brief and budget, not the objects in the reference image. The outdoor reference stays the same across palettes. These editorial images are AI-created concepts, not photographs of exact products for sale.
How should I use the material guidance?
Swatches communicate a visual direction, not an exact manufacturer color or verified performance claim. Confirm fiber, finish, care instructions, dimensions and exposure suitability for the specific product. Order physical samples and view them in your own room. “Performance” and “outdoor” labels alone do not answer every care question.
Where are my saved concepts kept?
Only in this browser on this device. Save up to two concepts to compare. They do not sync to another device and may disappear if browser data is cleared. Download a design brief to keep a separate copy. No account or email is required.
