This small studio treats bookbinding as a real activity, not decorative shelf styling. Light the work from the correct side

Place an adjustable task lamp so the dominant hand does not cast a shadow across the fold or cut line. Choose a stable base, keep the bulb and shade away from paper, and route the cord along the back or underside of the table. Plan storage around paper dimensions

Measure the largest paper, board and finished book before specifying drawers or shelves. Store sheets flat, keep frequently used tools within comfortable reach and reserve deeper closed cabinets for less attractive supplies. Shallow display shelves should hold only stable finished work and remain clear of direct sun or moisture.
